Which way is right? Which way is wrong?

Hi! So I haven't posted in ages because I've been so busy with school work, but that should all be finishing soon so I'll (hopefully) be doing lots more posts and stuff.

I love doing posts on music, I've only done about 2 or 3 but music is my favourite subject to blog about. Today I wanted to talk about two songs that I'm completely in love with. I've literally been singing them all week and I don't plan on stopping any time soon.

This first one is called Too Close and it is by Alex Clare.
Taken a listen.

I love everything about this song. I only heard it for the first time probably.. last week? And since them I haven't stopped listening to it. It was only yesterday that I realised his name is Alex Clare not Care! (Awkward!). It has a folky-dubstep sound it and I love the mix of the two. He has such a beautiful voice, if you didn't notice! Also, I think the most important part of music is the lyrics. I love how people can interpret lyrics differently and how a song can relate to you in more ways than you think. The lyrics to this song are very clear and I just can't stop loving it.

The next song is called You're All I Wanted by Kate McGill.
Take a listen...
This song. I can't even. I've loved this song for so long and every time I hear it, it gives me the chills. I love the flute (I think it's a flute) that plays at the beginning. The melody is just perfect and the lyrics just fit so well.
I've been a big fan of Kate McGill for quite a while now and I can honestly say that all her songs are just perfect. I really do suggest you listen to her, because you will fall in love. The harmonies in this song are just amazing. Kate is an absolute beauty. She really knows how to make a song sound how it should. She's a really talented songwriter (and singer, of course!). She does covers and originals - You can check her out by  clicking here and funnily enough, she did a cover of Too Close by Alex Clare! Do go listen to it, it's wonderful :)

Thank you for taking your time to read this post. I hope you fall in love with these songs and don't stop listening to them!

I like doing music related posts, do you like them? Should I continue doing music posts? :)

  1. I love Alex Clare :)
