I'd rather be causing the chaos than laying at the sharp end of this knife

On Thursday I had a lovely meal in Weatherspoon with Ellie and Vanese, followed by a spot of shopping! We went to some Charity Shops and I found this beautiful denim shirt. I tried it on and thought it was a bit too oversized, but Ellie did up the buttons and rolled up the sleeves and convinced me to get it. I'm glad she did. I'm completely obsessed. I layered it with my jumper and put on my necklace - which is only £1.39 (Free p+p)  from Ebay. Gotta love Hong Hong!

I've been loving the weather recently, although it's been getting kind of rainy these last couple of days, but I'm hoping that's just "April Showers" and May will have more sun! I only have 5 weeks left of college so I'm getting really excited and motivated to finish all my work. I've had such a good chillaxing week. My mum got a new car so she's very happy, means more night drives!(Which is the best. Music + the stars = wonderful). Hopefully next week should be good too, me and Vanese are getting Iphones on Wednesday so we're really excited for those. I'm excited to start doing My Week In Pictures again, I'm going to make them a bit more personal and talk about my week and set myself goals for the following week. So look out for those!
Bye for now :)

NOTD | MUA Nail Polish : Pistachio Ice Cream & All Nude review.

Please do excuse the chubby and messy fingers!
Yesterday during college me and Vanese were on our way to get some fruit and we walked past Superdrug and we thought it would be rude not to go in and check out the new MUA nail polishes everyone has been going on about! We saw them and fell in love with the all colours. I picked up "Pistachio Ice Cream" and "All Nude" I picked these two because it's been sunny recently and my mood has been lifted, I just feel so happy since the sun has come out. I'm sure that will all change when the weather goes back to its old ways! Pistachio Ice Cream is a really nice mint green colour and All Nude is just a white - which I've been searching for, for ages! I love these nail polishes, I had to do a few more than average layers, but I find that if you dip in the brush and straight away put it on without wiping away before applying then you will only need about two layers, although this "technique" can be quite messy! For £1 these nail polishes are quite amazing. I know MUA have changed their packaging and look more like Essie now, but I do like how the nail polishes look! The only problem I have is the nail polishes are so tiny so they're obviously going to run out quicker than I'd like them to. Overall I think these nail polishes are amazing and I'll definitely be buying more :)

I've been looking at my old posts and can't believe how different my blog was, I was a bit more creative back in 2012. Lots of D.I.Y's and My Week In Pictures. It's motivated me to start doing posts like those more now. I'm (lets hope I don't jinx this) getting an iphone on Wednesday so I should be able to take more photos and start doing my week in pictures again, I'm so excited. :)

30 Ways To Save £1

MoneySupermarket are running a competition for UK Bloggers. You have to come up with 30 different ways to save £1 (or just any money saving tip) By entering one blogger will get the chance of winning £1000 but if they get 1000 tips then they will higher the price to £2000!

Here are my money tips!
  1. Get an empty jar and put your coopers/pennies
  2. Go on Ebay and buy things cheaper than the usual price
  3. Shop in Charity Shops and find expensive brands for cheaper
  4. Walk or ride a bike instead of getting the bus or other forms of transport that you have to pay for.
  5. Don't go food shopping everyday, do a big shop once a week or every other week.
  6. Sell your unwanted things by doing Blog Sales and selling on Ebay.
  7. Create things and sell them (bracelets, t-shirt etc)
  8. Go for the cheaper alternatives because sometimes the more expensive things aren't as good as they're made out to be
  9. Don't throw away empty bottles, fill them back up and reuse them again and again.
  10. Save your money
  11. With CD's and DVD's wait a couple of months after they come out, the prices will go down
  12. Customise your old clothes instead of buying new clothes
  13. Shop in pound shops to get things for cheaper
  14. Cut your jeans into shorts instead of buying a new pair
  15. Instead of buying storage at Ikea or a supermarket, buy cheaper in Charity Shops
  16. Borrow clothes from family and friends
  17. Make your own printed t-shirts
  18. Cut down on the amount of lipsticks and nail polishes you buy in one month
  19. Bring your own bag (some shops make you pay to use their bags)
  20. If you want to take out money in a bank, use the ones that don't charge you
  21. Use the same bag instead of buying new ones
  22. Use discount codes
  23. Look around house for spare change
  24. Like in New Girl they have a "douche jar" you put money in the jar everytime you say something "douche-y"
  25. Buy 2 Jackets a year - one for winter and one for summer instead of spending money on different jackets.
  26. Live with others instead of living by yourself
  27. Listen to music LEGALLY and for free on Spotify
  28. Use your own printer instead of printing from the library of school/college so you don't have to pay
  29. Go to reduced section in supermarkets
  30. Turn off water when brushing your teeth

When everything's wrong you make it right

I wore this outfit today to a cafe for some brunch with my lovely friends. These past few weeks I've been going out more and I've really enjoyed it. I'm excited for summer, I don't want to sit on my bum for six weeks, I want to go out and have fun! Anyways.. on to the outfit. I found this multi-coloured jumper and American Apparel Circle Skirt in my local charity shop for £3.50 each! I love finding Bargains in charity shops. I've been searching for a jumper like this for quite a while now, it's really soft and fluffy and I hate showing my shoulders so I really love the sleeves on this; They look good rolled up too! I love the skirt to pieces but it's so short and the wind doesn't help! The skirt keeps rolling up ever-so slightly at the bottom. It's nothing, but it is kind of annoying, but I guess I could iron it straight!

April Wishlist

April Wishlist

1 I'm really loving satchels and now that summer is around the corner I'm craving one real bad! I know there are lots of cheap dupes around so that's a plus. Would be a nice accessory for summer :)
2 I love this jumper. I think it would be really nice to put over a collared blouse & a statement necklace.
3 I think this dress is adorable and great for summer for those really hot days!
4 I'm digging T-bar shoes, I love the little cut outs in these ones. How nice would they look with number 3?
5 Bit of a random pick but I love bra's like this one, they're just cute.. can I say that? Can I call bras cute?!

It’s just a spark, but it’s enough to keep me going

I tend to do this thing where I do a whole load of outfit posts and then do none for weeks. I should stop doing that... anyway, this beautiful skirt was a birthday gift from my lovely friend Ellie! I bought this shirt from Primark (£3.50) to go with it and topped it off with my gold chain from Ebay. I'm loving the chains over plain shirts trend so much. I will definitely be investing in a chunky statement chain necklace!

So far this half term I've done no work, I've caught another cold, I'm not feeling 18 nor do I feel 22, I'm two followers away from 200 and I love Paramore's new album more than anything! Any of you Paramore fans loving it too?
